Spring Break

Should a student feel guilty if they don't spend their Spring Break studying?  Not if they get to spend it with family! Take for example these pieces of evidence:
My last day in Florida I got to spend time with two of my favorite people. Dad is one of them....

And of course, Mom is another one of them. Thanks to both of them for such a wonderful vacation again!!!  I can not say enough to express my appreciation. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there...THANKS AGAIN!!!
And the sunset...did I mention they brought me to another beautiful beach sunset?  I pray we get to share many more together! Maybe we will see some warmer ones soon.
Dad has spotted a leaning flag pole...

By the next afternoon this pole was upright. No, Dad did not spend two days pushing against it.
There was actually a tractor and a work-crew working to upright it the very next day. I suppose the county did not want to risk having a lawsuit brought on them by a family of a strained concerned citizen.  Just kidding Dad!

Estimated age 2500 years old: "The Governor"- no, not Dad- the bald CYPRESS TREE!!!

The Governor is located at the end of this elevated walkway -which is near the "Nature Center"...

just past and to the right of ...
                                                                 295 Big Cedar Road...
$600.00/month!!!
I might should try to keep this place a secret!
Maybe someone or some people would like to share renting this site for a month...riverfront property, near Ebro, Florida...just look at some of the high points:
electrical outlets surround this lot, as do lights,

covered, tall car (camper) port,

covered observation/fish cleaning deck,

floating dock, well-anchored stairs/steps,

tie-downs for the camper, water outlets, hoses, phone jack, sewerage....much more!!!

OK, enough about the riverfront lot....

How often does a man get to see his father teach his Great-Grandson
how an experienced railroad man drives a train?

It certainly is not everyday that I get to enjoy these two pacemakers either!!!
Finally warming up to Grandpa Sam
Not shy about being held by Great-Grandma Norma
A walk past a pelican who appears to be awaiting a certain fate.
And what is perhaps a flight of encouragement
                                                                 Oversized  Toddler
OK, so I did not take this picture on vacation...but I received it then!
Papa and two more excellent reasons to go to Florida.

Well, I could spend all night with these pictures and reminising...but I need to start back to studying...school starts back tomorrow!!!

  1. Whow. This is wonderful. Your Dad thought he knew how to string words together but you are the real "wordsmith". Should be taking journalism or teaching it. Enjoyed every moment of "Spring break". Thanks for sharing with us.
