I'm no "expert", but...

was wondering what your "expert" opinion is on this one! the yellow one. would tracking be pretty good? it's 11 ft I think.

oh yeah, 11 feet, 6 inches. My short kayaks are only 10 feet long. I can ride in them, but they are awkward for me (but then, I am over 6 feet in height). I mostly use them when I can only carry something smaller, rather than trying to carry one of the big ones down the hill.  As for "tracking", I would think that they might track better than my 10 feet long kayaks, but I am not too sure. They are kinda "boxy" looking. I am not sure. I suppose only experience would tell. Buy one. Let me try it; and I will advise. Seriously though, I just don't know. I certainly ain't knocking it, I just have never ridden on a sit-on-top kayak. I feel like they would make me feel top-heavy, because I am used to sitting down below the water level in mine.

Tumblehome. I thought that was the term that I was trying to remember.

tum·ble·home/ˈtəmbəlˌhōm/

Noun:
The inward slope of the upper part of the sides of a boat or ship.

That is one of the images that I found after looking up the definition.

and more...

Now, maybe I can add another pix that I found when I looked up "tumblehome"...oh, nevermind. It was inappropriate.  Well, sorry I probably haven't answered your question, but I do like "your kayak". Are you sure that December will be too cold to float?
